Children's Ministry | Bible Classes: 0-12 years

NURSERY (Ages 0-2)

We believe that a life of Christ begins even at the youngest of ages. Within the confines of a beautifully decorated nursery including blocks, trucks, slides, various learning tools and even a mural of Noah’s Ark, children begin their growth in Jesus. Nursery is available at all service times and you’ll find that the warmth of our caregivers and the atmosphere itself is not only friendly and loving, but very conducive to your child’s growth in both the physical and spiritual realm.

Schedule: The nursery is available during all service times.
 

RAINBOWS (Ages 3-4) - J.A.C.K.S. (Ages 5-6) - PATHFINDERS (Grades 1-2)
TRAILBLAZERS (Grades 3-4) - PACESETTERS (Grades 5 - Age 13)

The purpose of Children's Ministry at CFC is to:

• Teach the Word of God line upon line, precept upon precept, so they may come to know who Jesus Christ is and have a vital, growing, personal relationship with Him as their Lord and Saviour.
• Provide exciting and meaningful opportunities for children to learn how to follow Jesus and demonstrate His love, grace, and mercy to others.
• Equip our children to be shining lights and beacons of truth as they grow physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, AND spiritually so they may acknowledge the Lord Jesus in all their ways.
• Guide them through from starting a path to Christ (PATHFINDERS) to showing actions through their walk (TRAILBLAZERS) and taking all they learned to be able to help others find the same pace (PACESETTERS).

Activities utilized in the learning and growth through these classes include:

• Games and Snacks
• Crafts and Stories
• Badge Earning

Schedule:

• Wednesday Nights: Rainbows, J.A.C.K.S. & the Christian Life Club (aka C.L.C., which includes Pathfinders, Trailblazers and Pacesetters) takes place during regular service times.
• Sunday Mornings: Rainbows, J.A.C.K.S. & Pathfinders take place during regular service times.

C.O.P.S. aka CHILDREN OF PRAISE (Ages 7-12)

Our vision is to reach children at their level and see that no child is left behind. This department ranges from 7-12 years of age. Since there are so many differences between these years, one of our goals is to make sure that each child gets ministered to according to their needs.

Both teach and reach contain the word EACH. In order to teach them and reach out to them we at tempt to focus on their individuality, designed by God before the foundation of the world. We want them to know that none of them are accidents, each one is awesome and wonderfully made.

Lessons and Topics taught in C.O.P.S. consist of:

• The love of Jesus
• Living as a Christian
• Fruits of the Spirit
• Miracles & Faith

We strive to make C.O.P.S. as exciting as possible so the children will enjoy learning about God. We want them to be excited about church and excited about Jesus. Skits, music, drama, seasonal lock- ins, worship and word time for this age group are all an integral part of reaching them at their level.

Schedule: C.O.P.S. takes place Sunday mornings during regular service times.
